Inca Trail
I would like to express my deepest and most sincere gratitude to Sap
Adventures for an amazing and unforgettable trek along the Inca Trail.
From the first email before our trip until our departure from Cusco,
everyone at SAP took excellent care of my mom, my aunt, and me, but I
especially want to thank our guides: Braulio and Franklin. We literally
would not have made it to Machu Picchu without them.
We knew going into the trek that we would be the slowest of the group,
but we were unprepared for the altitude sickness and exhaustion. After
the first half hour of hiking, we only saw the rest of the group and
Braulio at a few rest stops, meals, and in the evenings. When we did
see Braulio, he was a wonderful guide; very knowledgeable, outgoing,
friendly, and concerned for our well being. At Machu Picchu especially,
he demonstrated an extensive archaeological understanding, and my only
regret is that we were not fast enough to spend more time with him and
the rest of the group. Franclin stuck with us at the back for the
entire trek, and I sincerely believe that it was only his patience,
encouragement, and care that got us to Machu Picchu.
Beginning on the first day, my aunt unfortunately had a hard time and
struggled with altitude sickness and exhaustion. As would become our
trend, darkness fell before we reached camp, and we needed to stop
every few feet to take a break. But Franclin, who had been with us all
day, kept up his enthusiasm and encouragement. Braulio and several
porters, despite having already reached camp and seen to the needs of
the rest of the group, returned to us for the last part of the trek to
light our path and help us for the rest of the way to camp. Once there,
they administered oxygen to my aunt and made sure we were as
comfortable as possible.
At the beginning of the second day we were amused to see that we had
been assigned our own personal porter, Mario, who quietly shadowed us
like a guardian angel for all of the second and third days just in case
we needed more help. Despite having to take care of three rather slow
hikers, Felipe and Mario never complained. I cannot possibly express my
appreciation enough. Felipe treated my mom and aunt as if they were his
own much-loved and respected mother and aunt, and helped keep my worry
for them at bay by pointing out orchids, describing the Inca ruins, and
trying to teach me Quechua.
In addition to Felipe, Braulio, and Mario, the other Sap Adventures
porters, cooks, and coordinator all helped make the trip amazing. Each
meal was a delicious masterpiece that nevertheless accommodated
multiple dietary restrictions, and we were completely spoiled by being
gently awoken each morning with hot tea. The care that was provided by
everyone at Sap Adventures enabled us to overcome the altitude sickness
and exhaustion and enjoy the spectacular trail and ruins; left to our
own devices, we would have been absolutely miserable, and I highly
doubt we would have made it to Machu Picchu. I have a great deal of
respect and gratitude for everyone who helped create this amazing
experience and who shared the history, culture, and beauty of the Inca
Trail and those who created it.
This experience changed my life, and I will never forget the hike or
the wonderful people we met along the way. I cannot find enough words
to express my gratitude, so I will close by simply saying thank you;
muchas gracias; sumaqllapapaq.

Jungle Trip (Manu)
Hi John.
I wanted to let you know what a wonderful tour my husband and I had to
Manu with our guide, Francisco Mamani. We have been on several guided
tours with other companies, but Francisco made this trip perfect in
every way. He is extremely knowledgeable on every aspect of the flora
and fauna and culture of Peru. His enthusiasm, kindness,
thoughtfulness, and care made a trip of a lifetime possible for two
older folks who were not in the best physical condition. His mastery of
the English language was also sincerely appreciated. The other Sap
Adventures guides who assisted us driving the van and the boat were
also outstanding. Long days of traveling, intense heat and bugs were of
no real bother because all these gentlemen took such good care of us.
Please feel free to use this letter as a glowing reference for Sap
Adventures to all future visitors.
Sincerely, Susan Cuelan

Salkantay.
Hi.
My name is Robbing and I was fortunate enough to do the Salkantay trek
with Everton and Franklin In December 01. I cannot even begin to tell
you what a life changer my trip to Peru was for me. What I can tell you
is about the wonderful experience I had with my friend Everton. He was
patient and supportive with the seven of us who embarked on the trek.
Everton has a great understanding of his surroundings in the mountains,
forest, and local communities. Every time we set foot into a new
village or town Everton would be called out from a distance and smiles
and waves came from people working around the house or walking down the
street. I felt along with my group felt very welcome where ever we went
having Everton around. I miss my first night under the stars camped
next to the great Salkantay mountain. I miss hiking on the trail
whistling "Alborada" tunes (my favorite new group thanks to Everton,
wish I would have bought the Cd while I was there). We spent many
nights’ playing cards laughing after filling ourselves with amazing
food prepared by justino. We all felt extremely lucky that that you
chose those two guys for us on our trek. I often sit back and look at
my pictures and remember what it felt like to be there and I feel very
fortunate to have spent time with your staff, my good friends and my
new friends from Canada. Please keep up the good work. Say hello to
Everton for me!
Muchas Gracias,
Robbing Terence Barclay.
Arequipa – Cusco – Titicaca Lake.
Dear Sap Adventures
we have recently returned home after a tour which was organised locally
by your company. My husband an I would like to thanks all of you
for the excellent service we received throughout our travels.
We wolud specifically like to mention the guides, who were first class.
Namely, Julian and Victor in Arequipa, Bruno en Cusco and Orlando for
Lake Titicaca. Their depth of knowledge, their very professional and
considerate attitude towards their environment and the people they came
into contact with (us included) all served to enhance and enrich
our experience of your country.
We were very pleased with all the accomodation and the arrangements
(including the Bus services) worked perfectly. We will most certainly
recommend your company to other travellers and we hope to have the
opportunity to return to peru once again sometime and enjoy more of
what you have to offer. Many thanks once again to all of your staff
that we met during our tour.
Yours sincerely.

Inca Trail
This trip was better than expected. Franklin’s knowledge of every
aspect of the Inca Trail was impressive. He never missed a
chance to teach us about history, local customs and courtesies,
geology, fauna, and current efforts to preserve Inca Culture.
He made this trip exceptional! I will always recommend Sap Adventures!
Meals while hiking exceeded expectations. Other hikers even commented
when they saw our meals that theirs’ didn’t come close.

Inca Trail
This trek was so much more than I expected. I loved every second of it.
Julio was so patient and encouraging at all times and we had a great
team spirit even though we were all at different fitness levels. The
cooks and porters were incredible. They worked so hard to ensure we
were comfortable and well catered for and put us to shame when they had
to walk such long distances with huge packs then set up the camps and
had everything organized by the time we came stumbling in. I will be
recommending SAP to anyone I know of who is considering doing the Inca
Trail. Muchisimas gracias Sap Adventures!
Amazon Trip
Just a quick note to let you know what a terrific time we had on the
Manu biotrip. Our guide Percy did a terrific job and we had lots of fun
and saw lots of animals, particularly monkeys. I even got to see a
sloth, although it was rather far away. So thanks for arranging
everything so beautifully and I will definitely recommend Sap
Adventures for people planning to on a trip to the Amazon.
Best regards,

10 Days Peru
Thank you so much for all your help in making our trip to Peru such an
unforgettable experience. You did such an excellent job of making all
the plans for our tours, hotels etc. We never had one problem thanks to
your planning and organization. All of the guides and agents who met us
and supervised the tours were friendly, helpful and knowledgable. I've
already told 2 friends who are talking about a trip to Peru that they
must use your agency. Jane will be sending you a photo in the near
future.
Sincerely.

Inca Trail
As seven girls listened eagerly to their guide at the Sun Gate, they
knew a Bucket List item lay just around the corner. After 4 days of
hiking, we were finally going to be able to set our eyes upon Machu
Picchu! When we climbed the steps and looked into the valley, we all
cried. Not only was it a breathtaking moment, but it culminated a
wonderful journey.
Sap Adventures is solely responsible for the incredible experience of
the Inca Trail. The service was so much more impressive than we even
dreamed when we booked the trip! We were fed better on the 4-day hike
than we are at home! Our porters were so friendly, professional,
encouraging, fun, and amazing! We all agreed, we never want to go
hiking and/or camping again without our great guys! Thank you so much.
We saw so many beautiful sites, amazing ruins, and learned so much en
route to Machu Picchu, by Day 2 we already whispered amongst each other
that we'd be completely content with the trip even if we never reached
Machu Picchu. THAT'S how well SAP took care of us and made us feel!
A special and heartfelt THANK YOU goes to our wonderful guide, Everton.
Your knowledge, your caring, your professionalism, and your personality
MADE our experience. You felt like a big brother right from the start -
you made us feel safe, you really looked out after us, you knew
EVERYTHING, and we bragged about you to everyone! We feel blessed that
we were paired up with YOU as our guide. Thank you, thank you, and
thank you again for everything!!
Sap Adventures, you have an absolutely outstanding service going on -
I'm recommending your company to anyone and everyone! Thank you for
giving me and six of my friends an experience that will forever be
engraved in our memories and heart.

Peru Trip
Dear John
We booked the trip for my parents in law which don`t speak a word
spanish. The trip was professionally organized and my parents in law
enjoyed the trip very much. The hotels, the local food and the
transportation were perfect. Your German speaking tour guide was
extremely helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and with perfect German
speaking skills.
My father in law had a health problem and you helped him to get all the
necessary help and the communication with the local health provided. In
addition you kept me up to date via email regarding the situation.
Thank you very much for your outstanding service.
I will recommend your professional and friendly services to my friends
and I would not hesitate to consider your service for my next trip to
Peru.
Thank you very much.

Machu Picchu
Dear Sap Adventures
My cousin and I have both returned safely, and we both agree that this
trip to Cusco and to Machu Picchu was a trip of a lifetime.
We owe our incredible experience to SAP ADVENTURES and it's excellent
staff. I can honestly say that In all of my travels, I have never once
had greater service or personal attention.
You are all very amazing and we left feeling like we made some good friends in Peru.
John, you went above and beyond to secure our plans, taking care to
oversee our trip and making sure we had everything arranged properly.
We truly felt as if you were there every step of the way— from arrival
to departure at the aiport.
It was so reassuring to meet Shelia in Cusco, and her personal
attention to us was first class. She handled our hotel check in,
explained our plans, and even gave us her cell phone number to use at
anytime if we needed. This is not to mention her last minute booking of
our tour in Arequipa. Romulo took the most excellent care of us on our
way to and from Machu Picchu. I am pretty sure that without him, we'd
have been stuck in the construction at Ollantaytambo and would not have
arrived to the train on time. Amazing. Did I mention Nataly and Maria,
(sorry for the shortened names,) were wonderful, knowledgable tour
guides? (And great company!).
I would highly reccomend SAP ADVENTURES to anyone, and I personally
won't plan another trip to Peru without you. I am already scouring your
website to see what I will book for next year!
(There is so much to see and do in Peru!)
Thank you, so very much, for everything.
Very Sincerely,
EMILY TATE
Inca Trail
Hi John,
Thanks for recommending the package Following the Inca Trail 7
days 6 nights. We had an amazing trip that we will never
forget. We wanted to let you know how much we appreciated having
Bruno as our Guide. We felt completely safe, as he was always
looking out for our well being for the entire trip. He arranged the
trip beautifully so that we could have the best experience possible:
reserving the best campsites, scheduling our meals to match our pace,
timing our hike so that we could view the Temple of Water with no one
else around, and many other thoughtful touches. He encouraged us when
we were tired and always congratulated us on our accomplishments. His
knowledge of nature and history were impeccable; we learned so much
from him. Just as importantly, his respect for the environment and the
local culture was always apparent and his perspective enhanced our
appreciation of both. The fact that he spoke Quechua gave our
experience a level of authenticity that we had not anticipated and made
us even more grateful for his presence.
We also wanted to tell you that the Porters were wonderful. Aquilino is
not just a cook but a gifted chef. The fact that he could create such
amazing dishes on a camping trip is astonishing. We ate better on the
trail than we did in Cusco. Juliano did a superb job as Head Porter and
was so attentive to our needs. We have never been treated so well or
felt so pampered. All of the Porters were kind, respectful, and helpful
and we have great appreciation for the work that they do. They made it
possible for us to have a trip of a lifetime.
Thanks again for your services and rest assured that we will be recommending your agency to our friends.
Best Wishes,

Dear John
Just an e-mail to thank you and Sap Adventures for an amazing 10 days in Peru Your service exceeded our expectations
The welcome call in our hotel room the first night , the perfect
transfers , the experienced guides , the small group size on the Inca
trail (we were 5 people accompanied by 13 porters , a cook and 2
guides) , the amazing camping sites (often better than all the other
groups) , the personal touch of the local Sap Adventures representatives
You really made the difference ! Congrats

Inca Trail
I'm a 20 year old
American. I hiked the Inca Trail on the 11th of July. Thanks to my
guides, Everton and Franklin, the Inca trail was the highlight of my
trip to Peru. Everton kept us on track, but always with respect and a
sense of humor. I enjoyed learning about the culture and history from
him. It is inspiring that he is so passionate about his country and his
work. I noticed that Eder always listened carefully when Everton was
talking about the Incas/Quechua.
I was the only one in my group with a full pack. On the first night
Everton and Franklin convinced me to hire a porter for the next day
which was the hardest and longest. I'm glad that they did convince me
because it was hard enough with the lighter pack. It was nice that they
took care of me and it showed how experienced and caring they are.
It felt like we were a family. I will never forget the Inca Trail. I would like to go again with Everton and Franklin.

7 Days in Peru
Hola Mr. Yohon I have just returned from my trip to Peru, and I had
booked the 7 day Peru Adventure tour with your company. Just wanted to
let you know the wonderful experience that I had. Everything was really
great, all the guides were very knowledeable, friendly, and warm. The
hotel in Cusco called Arqueologo was wonderful , from it"s warm cozy
room with unbelievable views of Cusco to the young staff that was so
friendly and kind to this single traveler that spoke limited spanish.
Also just wanted to mention the rafting trip that was just so much fun
and the guide Orlando and his father Juan. Orlando was very
knowelegable of the river and Inca history, and had a great sense of
humor. The whole trip from beginning to end was a experience that will
be with me forever. Thank you again. I am now home in the USA but my
heart is in Peru and it"s wonderful people.
Sincerely Alberto Siniscalco
Inca Trail
We really enjoyed literally Everything about this tour. We were not so
sure if this experience will end up in disaster (by altitudes sickness,
water problems, mosquitos in jungle, scheduled transportations..etc. ),
or a heavenly experience. There were some obstacles, but we were
not disappointed at all. It was really a heavenly experience, we're even thinking about moving in to Peru.
Thank you very much, it all happened because of you guys!

to impress upon you what a great experience we had on the Inca trail.
My husband and were particularly impressed with the sensitivity that
our guides had for the environment and for the porters and their
welfare. Our guides made the difference between a good trip and a great
one. I want to pass on a very big thank you to Itzak and Julian for a
very memorable and worthwhile experience. Thaks SAP!! I have some great

Dear Sap,
We were in the group with SAP ADVENTURES during the extreme weather in
the end of February with Fred and Ramiro as our guides. We want to
express our gratefulness to our guides that practically saved us.
During the last days when there were avalanches and landslides on the
mountain and people were dying around us, they acted very professional
and responsible. They took us over the mountain with deep knowledge and
experience about the weather conditions and the nature. For that we are
forever thankful. They are not only good guides, but also good
psychologists and became good friends of ours during these scary days.
They calmed us down, made jokes and treated us very well.
They saved our lives.
Please, forward this message to them and be aware of that you have the best guides ever.
We are also grateful to you at SAP that took good care of us when we
finally got down to Aguas Calientes. We will recommend SAP Adventures
to all our friends.

We had a wonderful time. Your staff was courteous and helpful. We
appreciated the customized tour. We liked being able to decide for
ourselves how long to stay in the various locations, but is was
comforting knowing that there would be someone waiting for use at each
new city. The Inca trail tour was outstanding!!!!

Peru Trip
I was so pleased to encounter the warm and friendly people of Peru. You
have very strong and energetic country men and women. Most were very
grateful to have me visit their territory. You must be proud to be
Peruvian.
I was especially pleased with Sap Adventures; they gave me a warm welcome and thorough briefing in Cusco.
I learned as much about your way of life as I did about the
countryside. Ursula, who took me on the Lima City Tour, was also quite
knowledgeable and amicable. Additionally, I am especially thankful for
Gustavo and Paula Araya in Lima, who met me at the oddest of hours,
both early and late, and transported me to a variety of places. Many
thanks to your entire team sap adventures for your organization, your
connections, and your friendship. You helped make my trip to Peru quite
memorable.

We had a truly great time on our trip. The arrangements were virtually
flawless. The only variation we encountered was no problem at all, and
a phone call confirmed that an alternative transportation arrangement
had been made.
All of the guides we had were exceptionally knowledgeable, and all transportation/connections were punctual.
Thanks again to all Sap adventures staff for all of your help in
formulating and executing the itinerary. We are extremely satisfied
with your services and would recommend them highly.

I recently completed a 4 day trek with your company on the 5th of April.
I just wanted to say what a pleasure it was to have been smart enough
to use your company. Omar and Stefano were absolutely wonderful as
guides. They were kind and patiently responded to any questions asked
of them. Their meticulous attention to detail was greatly appreciated
by the rest of the group and myself. The porters were the hardest
working bunch of guys that I have ever seen. It amazed me that they
could tear down and put up a site so fast. Your cook is a tremendous
asset as all of the meals we were served were outstanding. I would
recommend your company to anyone looking for a reputable firm to guide
them over the trail. It was a trip that I will never forget. Please
give my regards to everyone there.

To all the employees at sap.
Thank you all for an unforgettable excursion to your beautiful country.
We are grateful for the perfect organization with which all
arrangements were done. Everyone was punctual, the hotels were
excellent, all tours could not have been better. The highlight of
course was Machu Picchu, but the tour through the Sacred Valley was
almost as interesting. Our guides also deserve special praise for their
expertise.
Thank you again for a wonderful time.

Inca Trail
Hi!
Just wanted to send an email to say thanks for your excellent service.
We went on the 4 day Inca trail, and were really pleased with
everything. We'd had lots of recommendations for your company
throughout our travels in South America, which made us sign up with you
even though your prices are a little higher than others. It was
definitly worth it! HUGE spacious tents (plus an awning to keep those
stinky boots outside), friendly porters, great (and lots of) food - and
most of all an excellent guide. Augusto really made the trip fantastic.
He was always smiling and making sure everyone was OK. We got so much
more information than many other groups, some people even tried to
listen in on our group! He was really encouraging when we had to climb
the pass - something which I'm sure we all appreciated whilst we huffed
and puffed up the slope! All the small touches like Vodka in the
morning to perk us up, Rum and hot tea and even a decorated birthday
cake for 2 group members made the trip even more special.
Thanks so much!!!
Al and Stu
p.s The hostel in AC was lovely too - a most welcome lie-in!

Just a note to say "muchas gracias' for a wonderful tour.
All your representatives were very professional, friendly, informed and

friendly and helpful. My group thanked me for a great tour . However
the credit for this great tour goes to you and your fellow employess.

We greatly enjoyed our time in Peru
My boyfriend and I arrived home yesterday after a week of touring
through Peru. We would like to thank you for such a magnificent trip!
Everything was orchestrated beautifully. We never had to worry about
anything. All of the people we encountered from your agency were
polite, friendly and punctual.
We greatly enjoyed our time in your beautiful country. Cusco was
extremely interesting. Our favorite part of the trip was our time spent
at Lake Sandoval Lodge. Our guides, William, and Marco were wonderful.
They were very energetic, knowledgeable, and showed us an amazing time.
I highly recommend Lake Sandoval Lodge. The atmosphere, the food was
incredible.
Thank you again!!

The trek to Choquiquirau was hard however the staff worked very hard to
put together an enjoyable and amazing experience. Roberto was an
excellent guide, he was able to answer all our questions, was friendly
and approachable.
I would definately recommend SAP to my friends.
Julio and Louis made a very organized trip... Food was awesome !! Better than restaurants,
Mariano and his son took good care of horses and equipment.
Everyone was very kind.

Inca Trail
Dear SAP ADVENTURES,
Last night, as we discussed what to have for dinner, we reminisced (not
for the first time) regarding the wonderful food and dishes we were
given while walking the Inca trail earlier this year with Sap
Adventures. Which made us think two things – we still hadn’t written to
thank the guides for their wonderful assistance, and do you have any
recipes available for that fantastic food?
On October 28th 2009 my wife Paula and I embarked on the 4 day Inca
Trail trip under the guidance of Ernesto, Eider (sp?), and numerous
support crew. To give some background, we chose SAP on the
recommendation of Melbourne friends who had done the same trip
previously. We also chose your organisation based on the guide to
client ratio, and an expectation of good service. My wife has advanced
breast cancer, at the time also had blood clots in her lungs, and has
had brain surgery which affects her balance - so the quality of service
and safety was very important to us.
We spent some time adjusting to the climate in Cusco prior to the walk,
nevertheless, as expected, my wife found the walk challenging -
particularly climbing up to over 4000m to dead woman’s pass on what
turned out to be a 10 hour day. However, being the slowest walkers in
the group, at all times we were supported by a guide. If we were late
to the tent for lunch, food had been kept aside (did I mention how good
the food was?), and we received from the guides just the right amount
of encouragement to ensure that we kept moving to make it to our
destination. I would like to thank Ernesto, and particularly Eider, who
usually had the ‘tail end charlie’ role of walking with us, carting the
oxygen the whole way, encouraging and being patient while we carefully
negotiated the path in the rain. It was a wonderful achievement for my
wife to make the trip, walk the Inca trail, and explore Machu Pichu,
and it was made possible and enjoyable with the support from your crew.
We had a great time and it was the highlight of our 6 week trip to
South America. So please pass on our belated gratitude to your team,
and in particular Ernesto and Eider.
Since then we have also travelled in North America and the Northern
Territory of Australia. Paula continues to receive treatment, recently
had further brain surgery to remove tumours, and is generally doing
well and planning our next trips.
Yours sincerely,
Kevin Ayrey and Paula Drum.

Inca Trail
I just wanted to thank you and the entire SAP team for the wonderful time my husband and I had on our four-day trek.
To be honest, the hike was more difficult than I had anticipated. I was
pretty nauseous at times and had difficulty eating – and breathing. I
think that the challenges I faced made completing the trek even more
rewarding than I could have imagined! Ozy and the porters were
absolutely fantastic! They knew I was having a hard time and remained
within earshot throughout the entire four days! They allowed me to walk
at my own pace (very slow) and never pressured me to keep up with the
rest of the group. Ozy encouraged me, gently and professionally, to
succeed at completing the hike. The porters made sure I had a tent and
mattress to rest during a tea break after having a difficult morning,
and at one point they met me on the trail with a sandwich. They too
were extremely professional.
If I had not completed this trek I know I would have regretted it for
the rest of my life. This trip had been a dream of mine for the past
five years. I couldn't have made it without SAP ADVENTURES.
Thank you for turning my dream into reality!
Sincerely,
Paula Streeter
Peru Trip
it's been quite a bit since we came back from our journey in Peru, which we
(4 people) visited "far and wide" with the Peru Highlights 11 days
tour, offered by your agency and which we found through your web
site.
As you may know, we've also filled in all the official feedback forms
provided by the different tour guides we met at each place and the
overall feedback form sent via email by one of your colleagues.
However, on top of these, we feel we want to spend a few additional
words in order to thank you (and your agency) so much for the excellent
service you've provided us with throughout the tour!
The reservation process (completed via web and phone) has been great,
in spite of our pretty short lead time, which led us to change the
arrival's dates at the very last minute (4 days before the actual
arrival in Lima).
Once in Peru, in each and every city we arrived (either via plane or
bus) we found one of your representatives standing there, waiting for
us and ready to drive us to our hotels. Punctuality has definitely been
one of your key strenght!
The hotels you booked for us were absolutely wonderful: nice and clean
- of course - but also really peculiar in their unique Peruvian/Inca
style, which we appreciated a lot! Special mention goes to the Sonesta
Posada in Arequipa, to the Colca Lodge and to the Picoaga in Cusco. We
really enjoyed our stay there and the special atmosphere that we could
breath!
All the tour guides were really polite, dedicated, and very well
prepared on what to tell us. On top of this, they really embodied the
typical Peruvian attitude (which we liked so much!), always smiling and
ready to help you or welcome you as a foreigner, which made our days
even better... :)
Among all of them, we would like to dedicate a special recognition to
Joanna, the guide we met in Arequipa and that stayed with us for 3 and
a half days (Arequipa city tour + Colca canyon). She's been simply
exceptional in each and every aspect: extremely competent and
dedicated, but also very efficient and reliable in every situation. For
example, when we encountered an issue at the Arequipa airport (leaving
for Puno) and were left off the plane, together with other 15 tourists,
because of a deplorable behaviour from one of the Peruvian internal
airline companies, among all the guides there she was undoubtedly the
one that stood up and promptly reacted to the emergency, talking to the
airline personnel, calling other contacts elsewhere, and ultimately
succeeding in getting an alternate solution for all of us (not only the
4 of us!) to reach Puno.
All in all, our journey in Peru has been really perfect and we've
enjoyed it tremendously! We've brought back with us very nice memories
of your country and of the Peruvian people!
Once again we would like to express our thanks to you and to your
agency for the terrific service you've been able to provide.
Best regards from Italy,

things, history of lands, history of the people, environmental
issues, animals, insects, rocks, rivers, etc Isaac has a great way of
turning everything into a possitive. If its misty and no views, its
mystical. Very cool.

Inca Trail
I had a fantastic time walking the Inca trail starting on November26 –
28th. Our group of 15 had Roberto and Julian as guides. They were both
very knowledgeable on the area and the Inca history. Roberto also
managed our group and the porters extremely professionally. He was
always aware of any problems in our group either with people who were
struggling with walking due to injury or illness or with personality
conflicts.
I was the slowest walker in our group for all the uphill sections and
so spent a lot of time walking with either Roberto or Julian at the
back of the group. I had a great time chatting and laughing with them.
They are both very kind men. I would not have made it to the top of
Dead Women's Pass without their encouragement and support. Also their
cheerful attitude to walking in the rain each day was infectious. The
Inca trail didn’t turn out to be as difficult as I expected once I
followed their advice and went at my own pace instead of trying to keep
up with the group.
All our porters and cooks were fantastic. Boris cooked great food for
us, I never expected that we would eat so well when camping. It was
great to arrive at the campsite after a few hours walking and have
someone take my pack from me and then get handed a hot drink to revive
me. They also surprised me by having a hot, sweet cup of chamomile tea
and a sandwich waiting for me when I got to the top of Dead Women’s
Pass – an excellent touch. Thank you to all the porters who tried to
teach me a few Spanish words as they ran passed me several times each
day.
I will have great memories from the Inca Trail for a long time. I am looking forward to the day when I can walk it again.
Muchas gracias,
Anita

We are just back from a fabulous 3 weeks in Peru all organised through
SAP Adventures (5th December till 21st October). Thank you for a
wonderful time - we met so many great people, saw so many amazing
sights, and have many great memories. The Inca Trail was brilliant, our
guides Orlando and Washington and the team of porters were excellent -
thank you to all of them for making the Inca Trail the experience it
was.
We also had a great time in Manu - thanks for the efficient way in
which our unexpected extra night at Boca Manu was organised - Dustin
and the rest of the team were very helpful. Our other tours were
fantastic experiences too - staying on an Island in Lake Titicaca and
the Colca canyon trip. All hotels were excellent too. Raul in the
office in Cusco was also great and really helpful to us and others we
were travelling with whenever we needed anything clarified or
organised/changed.
Thank you to everyone at SAP ADVENTURES - we were very sad to leave
Peru and would recommend your company to anyone wishing to travel in
Peru.
It\'s difficult to get across in words what a fantastic time we had and
how it was made so hassle-free by SAP....may be I\'ll write more again

Inca Trail
This is especially for Hilbert, Rodney and Oscar.
Hi there
We came to Q\'osqo at the beginning of November and did the Inca trail
to Machu Picchu, starting at km82 on 11th Nov. We want to say a big
thank you to our guides, Hilbert, Rodney and Oscar, for looking after
us so well and making our trek so memorable. We had a truly fantastic
time, even though it was tougher than we had expected. You three guys
realy did care for us, encourage us and keep us going when we felt we
couldn\'t go another step. And you were so interesting to listen to,
and so clearly in touch with the mountains and the history. And we
haven\'t forgotten our porters, those amazing men who carried all our
stuff, made camp for us and cooked us some delicious meals. Thank you
all so much.
We\'ll never forget our time in Peru, and we hope to come back and visit again - it\'s a truly special place.
With our love
Alison and Jim Morton
Peru trip
Dear Sap Adventures,
My family have arrived back home. I want to tell you how much we
enjoyed our trip to Peru and to express my gratitude for helping to
make it such a wonderful experience. I know you must have been very
busy when the strike caused the road between Juliaca and Cusco to be
closed and I appreciate the effort you made to get us safely to Cusco.
I will send some photos soon. I would like to tell you how especially
pleased we are with Carlos Pena (Carlos of the Jungle) who was our
guide in the jungle and with Senora Carmin of the Residencia del Sol in
Cusco. When my wallet was taken in Cusco, Senora Carmin was
tremendously helpful and she always made us feel like family. Carlos
has an amazing knowledge of the plants and animals of the rain forest
(and of North America). He is a wonderful person who I will always
consider a friend.
Thanks so much for making our trip so special !!

Dear Mr. Vanessa:
Our trip was wonderful. Everyday was an adventure. Everything ran
smoothly -- our flights were on-time; we were met promptly at each
airport; the day trips were marvelous, with well-informed and fun
guides. I became ill, probably from bad cheese on an airline, and the
hotel got me a doctor promptly, I was given medication, and the guide
in cusco was fantastic in delaying our flight one day so I could
recover, and changing around our itinerary in a seamless manner. This
was certainly the trip of a lifetime, and we owe it all to you and Sap
adventures. Thank you so much for all your efforts in making this a
fabulous trip.
Sincerely,
Jesslyn Cobb and Gary Kent

SAP reputation as one of the best Inca Trail company and guides
definitely showed, especially being led by Angel. All the porters were
genuinely caring and overall customer service is worth the extra money
paid. I had a great time and would totally recommend SAP to others,
just as some of my backpacker friends said I must book the Inca Trail
with SAP.
Keep up the good work !

Dear Yohon,
We have returned from our South American trip and are safe and sound
back in Amsterdam. I want to let you know that we enjoyed our trip to
Peru immensely. You and your organisation did a very good job.
Everything went as smooth as could be expected. We loved Lima and Cusco
and we were very impressed by Machu Picchu. I am glad we stayed in the
Sanctuary Lodge, it was worth the steep price! Thank you and your staff
for taking good care of us, we will certainly recommend you to our
friends. Kind regards,
Rob Engels.

Dear SAP ADVENTURES,
Just to let you know we had a great time in Peru. The arrangements for
our trip were perfect and everything went smoothly. Your company really
made our trip hasslefree, we were met at the airport on time, the
hotels were very good.I want to specially mention our experience doing
the Inca trail, it was tough but awesome, the guide Mr Saul was very
good and kept his team of visitors, porters and cook very well
organized and taken care of. Wish the weather had cooperated as well,
rained quite a bit but I guess that"s part of the experience.
Thanks again to your organization for a great job.

We
just finished the four-day Inca Trail trek and wanted to express our
thanks for an amazing time! Everything about the trip was extremely
well-organised, the food was terrific, and the porters worked very hard
to make the experience enjoyable. Most importantly, our guide Isaac was
everything we hoped for and more. His knowledge of the Quechua people
(being one himself) was immense and he was great at communicating it to
us. He is very funny, sincere and trustworthy and his decision-making
was always spot-on. We think he is a national treasure and we wish him
all the best in his future endeavours. One thing we thought might be
good would be to include a few Quechua phrases on the itinerary handout
to increase communication. eg. hello, excuse me or thank-you.
Thanks again SAP ADVENTURES,
Peter and Clare.
We
completed the Inca Trail with SAP in July 2007. It was the highlight of
our month-long trip around Peru. Thank you so much for making the hike
so enjoyable, it was an unforgettable experience. We could not have
done it without the porters - your hard work was very much appreciated
- and thanks to the expert guides, Javier and Rodney: we\'re family!

THANK
YOU! SAP provided us with a fantastic experience in Cusco. After we
left Cusco we dealt with other agencies who weren\'t as honest,
punctual, thorough, helpful or worth our money. Also, SAP refunded our
money for a tour that couldn\'t happen because of teacher strikes. In
the US they NEVER would have given us a full refund. We have already
recommended SAP to fellow travelers we met along the way and future
travelers to Peru. Thank you for giving us a wonderful experience in
your beautiful country. We\'ll be back to do the rest of the tours!

the early morning coca tea at 0430 in the morning the trek would
nothave been the same without you,the inca trail was just out of this

many thanks for looking after us

We
did the four day trek as part of our honeymoon and it was one of the
most fabulous experiences of our lives. We arrived at Machu Picchu
feeling like we had \'earned\' the right to be there, after following
in the footsteps of the Incas. Our guide, Hilbert was wonderful, very
knowledgeable and with an endless supply of terrible jokes! Fermin, the
other guide, was also great, and the porters were, well, quite
unbelievable really. They carried such heavy loads, making our lives a
lot easier, and still managed a smile for us all when we arrived into
camp every evening. The chefs somehow managed to present the best trail
food we had ever eaten with minimal cooking equipment.
And last but not least, our fellow group members, if you read this, you
were a great bunch, glad to share the experience with you all!
We would definitely recommend SAP.

My
wife and i completed the Inca Trail on behalf of Macmillan Cancer
Support and can not thank all of the staff at SAP Adventures enough.
You made the trip so memorable for us both. Special thanks to Alex
& Abraham who helped Sue down the steep steps. Also special thanks
to the Chaski\'s and Chef\'s (amazing to see in action).

Dear SAP ADVENTURES.NET
I wanted to write and say how impressed I was with the level of service
and care your team gave us on our recent Lares Trail Trek in Peru. I
was a member of the group that came with Discovery Adventure 12th to
22nd of May this year.
The two guides Oscar and Fred were brilliant and looked after us very
well. They were always first up in the morning with our Coca Tea and
last to bed checking everything was safe for us in the camp site. Fred
is obviously very passionate about the Inca history and really gave
100% when he spoke to us on the journey. We all felt like we got the
inside story and benefited from Fred’s extensive studying and interest
in his subject. His English was excellent. Oscar was very caring and
really made sure we were all safe and happy on the trek. He is very
responsible and watchful and took the time to make sure that everyone
on the trip made it despite some of their difficulties. They are an
ideal partnership and were happy to join in with the social aspects of
the trek too. We had a lot of fun with them both. They both made it
special for us all.
The porters and cooks were amazing too. The food they produced from
those tents was outstanding. I think we all wished that we had better
appetites. We all loved the pop corn in the evening and the quinoa and
pancakes for breakfast!
It was a fantastic trek and I know that all of us enjoyed it immensely
and would have no hesitation in recommending sap adventures in the
future.
Kind Regards
Jackie Jarvis
